If you read the very next line, you'll see I said exactly that. I'm not playing the 'we're also oppressed' card, I'm saying the root causes today are NOT racism. These problems need to be 100% eradicated, we agree. I'm saying basing that eradication on the idea the structures, and all white people in them, are racist will lead to bad ideas about how to do so, like 'defund the police'.
